The Standells est un groupe américain de garage rock, originaire de Los Angeles, en Californie. Leur plus grand succès est la chanson Dirty Water en 1966. Le groupe se sépare en 1968, puis revient dans les années 1980. Le dernier album studio en date, Bump, est publié en 2013.

The Standells are an American garage rock band from Los Angeles formed in the 1960s, who have been said to be a "punk band of the 1960s." They are considered to have inspired groups including the Sex Pistols and Ramones. They recorded the 1966 hit "Dirty Water", written by their producer, Ed Cobb. "Dirty Water" is the anthem of several Boston sports teams and is played after every Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins home win.
