The Sentinals were a surf rock band from San Luis Obispo, California (1961–1965). The band is notable for a Latino influence in some works, such as "Latin'ia" (1962). Notable band members included Tommy Nuñes, drummer John Barbata (later of The Turtles and Jefferson Starship) and Lee Michaels (then known as Michael Olsen) on keyboards.

The Sentinals sont un groupe américain de Surf music originaire de San Luis Obispo, en Californie actif entre 1961 et 1965. Les membres les plus connus du groupe sont Tommy Nuñes, le batteur John Barbata, qui rejoindra plus tard The Turtles et Jefferson Starship, et Lee Michaels, alors connu sous le nom de Michael Olsen, aux claviers.
