The Other est un groupe allemand d'horror punk, originaire de Leichlingen, en Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie. The Other est considéré comme le représentant le plus connu du genre horror punk en Europe. Le nom du groupe fait référence à « l'étranger » ou à « l'inconnu » et provient de la littérature et de la psychologie (voir Unheimlich).
