Bio
Liturgy is an American black metal band from Brooklyn, New York City. The band have described their music as "transcendental black metal," particularly in a manifesto founding member Haela Hunt-Hendrix wrote. While transforming their black metal style, they have experimented with progressive rock, hip hop and electronic music. Early on, Hunt-Hendrix cited Swans, Glenn Branca, Rhys Chatham, La Monte Young and Lightning Bolt as influences.
