Bio

Ida is an American indie rock band from New York City, formed in 1992. They are known for their three-part harmonies which typically consist of sparse and minimal, often quiet arrangements, and their three singer-songwriter compositions. The band’s musical style takes inspiration from a variety of genres, including folk, punk, pop, world, R&B, and American roots music, but they also incorporate avant-garde and experimental aspects to their sound as well.
